About Winterboro High School. Winterboro High School is one of seventeen schools comprising the Talladega County School System. The school system employs approximately 1009 employees and provides services to approximately 8,000 students. The Winterboro area is nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains in east central Alabama, and from the school campus, one can see where Sleeping Giant Mountain, Blue Mountain and Mt.
